My Writing Process

  1. The Idea

    - Usually for me an idea for a book comes from reading, watching a television show or movie, listening to music, and sometimes observing things or those around me.

  1. When

    - I don't particularly have a routine time and place when it comes to writing. I like to write when I feel motivated and in the mood.

    - I feel that when I am most inspired is when I write my best.

  1. Where

    - I don't have a set place I write. Sometimes I write alone in the comfort of my own home and other times I write in public settings usually in writing sessions with my friend who is also a fellow author.

  1. What happens first

    - When the idea for a book hits me I start with developing my characters.

    - I begin with a detailed outline which would include who my characters are and how they are as individuals. It also includes settings and tropes I want to include in the story.
